Lee Ann Whitmire
President
Lee Ann joined Wishing Well Texoma in 2016. She and her husband, Jeff, have resided in the Texoma area for over 27 years. During that time, she has been active within the local school system, community, and her church. Lee Ann has a passion for children and serving families in need. She is thrilled to be apart of Wishing Well Texoma.
Rayce Guess
Vice President
Rayce Guess joined Wishing Well Board in 2016 after retiring from being an Area Teacher/ Coach of 29 yrs. With stops in Bells, Leonard, Paris and 15 yrs in Denison. Rayce is active in Bethel Baptist Church located in Bells Texas one of the oldest Churches in Grayson County as Deacon/Secretary/ Treasurer . Rayce feels blessed to be a part of Wishing Well and their Making A Difference in young people’s lives.
Julie Mitchell
Treasurer
Julie joined Wishing Well Texoma in 2015. She has been active in her community as a volunteer and as an employee for several local non-profit agencies, since moving to Sherman in 1992. Julie is looking forward to helping the wish recipient make their “dream come true”.
Lauren Hagan
Secretary
Born and raised in Sherman, Lauren dedicated 17 years to teaching elementary students in Sherman and Bells. Lauren also spent many years volunteering as a softball coach for community teams. Now, as a realtor, she dedicates her time to helping people buy and sell their homes. To further fulfill her desire to serve children & families, she joined Wishing Well Texoma in 2017. Lauren and her husband, Dwayne, have 3 children and 2 grandchildren.
Carrie Beth Baca
Asst. Secretary
Carrie Beth Baca was born and raised in Sherman. She and her husband have 4 children and 3 grandchildren. They love volunteering with their church and other community organizations.
Wanda Kauffman
Asst. Treasurer
Wanda Kauffman joined WishingWell Texoma in 2022. Wanda has served Texoma children in need for over 15 years. Wanda resides in Denison with her husband Mike.
Deidre Hornback
Board Member
Deidre has lived in the Sherman area since 1998 and is an Occupational Therapist in the area. She has a passion and love for helping children and adults and has served on Wishing Well Texoma committee for many years.
Vanesha Lewis
Board Member
Wishing Well Texoma had the blessing of granting a wish to Vanesha Lewis’ daughter. Upon return, Vanesha voiced an interest in becoming apart of our organization. We we thrilled to welcome her to our board. Vanesha resides in Sherman with her family
